The Limfjord Race
Scandinavia's largest race for old vessels, 10.-15. September 2012
During more than 20 years the Limfjord Race has developed into the largest race for old commercial vessels or copies hereof in Scandinavia.
The race 2012 is launched on the 10th September in Løgstør. From here the vessels sail to Thisted and the next day they continue to the west of the island of Mors to call at Struer. On Thursday the 13th September the vessels set sail for Nykøbing Mors and the following day, Friday, for the island of Fur. On Saturday the 15th the vessels go from Fur to Skive where the winners will receive their prizes.
The beautiful old vessels create a fantastic atmosphere on the fjord and in the harbours where you can admire them at close range.
