Gardens and Parks

In the region of Skive there are about 75 ha public parks and trimmed areas, and besides there are a lot of places where nature speaks for itself. In the parks there are planted hard- and softwood trees together with several exotic trees. In summertime summer flowers are transplanted, and together with roses and bushes in bloom the parks become attractive and recreational areas.

The most beautiful and well- trimmed park in Skive is “Anlægget”, which lies in connection with the Museum Park. In “Anlægget” a lot of cultural events are arranged and it also has an open-air scene, an aviary with birds and very beautiful spring waters with ceramic swans. 

In the Museum Park you find ” Børnenes Paradis”, which is a municipal playground open from mid-April until the finish of the autumn holiday (week 42), each day from 10 am to 5 pm.

In the town of Skive you  also find Gymnasieparken and Feldingbækparken and in the region of Skive there are also parks in Balling, Durup, Ramsing, Jebjerg, Breum and Glyngøre.
