 The locality of Skive offers a wealth of nature experiences at close range. Fur has large unique nature resorts with landscapes that are only found here.

Flyndersø (lake), which is the largest moorland lake in Denmark, is surrounded by moorland, and in the area, before the outfall into Skive Fjord, Karup Å passes Skive Ådal which is a protected area.   The restored lakes (Flyndersø, Brokholm Sø and Spøttrup Sø) give room for a rich variety of plants, birds and animals life which delight all nature lovers.  

In the region of Skive it is easy to gain access to the most beautiful nature resorts via walking and riding routes.
