Riding Routes Skive-Salling-Spøttrup
The areas at Eskjær woods, at Mogenstrup beach and at Havbjerg woods are connected into one riding route which is about 15 km long, and the surroundings are a variety of all kinds of nature: Hills, newly planted forest, lakes and marshes, fields, old beech forest and beaches.
The landowners of the area have kindly made the access to their land available to visitors, so you can go where you please on private paths and fields of most of the route. If you want to combine the ride with a visit lasting for more than one day, you can shelter your horse for the night in a fold at Havbjerg Skov or you can have your horse stabled at Sundsøre Rideklub.
All travelling along the riding route is at ones own risk – the beach between Eskjær Skov and Mogenstrup can be difficult to pass at high tide, and in connection with landslide the bottom can be rather slippery.
