At the museums of the Skive region art is richly represented in successive exhibitions, and the local galleries also offer many art experiences. In addition, you fi nd outdoor works of art all over the region in the form of sculptures in places where people meet – even in the roundabouts where the 11 Stars of Skive welcome visitors to the town.
The latest initiative is the 57 sculptures placed in the centre of Skive: modern runic stones, curious monkeys, beautiful trees with luminous glass leaves, funny poufs in many colours and patterns, and a fish with scales made from old spoons are just some of the sculptures created by local artists with local sponsors.
