No matter where you go in the Skive region, there are exciting experiences or a good story just around the corner: the geological conditions are so special that they attract great international attention, the many manors give evidence of extremely fertile lands, and here some of Denmark’s most powerful men have played a role in local history throughout the centuries. Moreover, one of Denmark’s greatest poets, Jeppe Aakjær, was born in this area and here he wrote his beloved poems and several novels.

The 8 different routes give you the possibility of acquainting yourself with the history and nature of the Skive region whilst scouring land and water.
